Kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week beginning the morning with cinnamon rolls and coffee. Special parents had an ice cream truck for teachers to enjoy as they were leaving school today. Thanks to all who made this possible today!



We will hold our Title I/Family School Partnership Spring Input meeting on Monday 5/2 at 6:00 pm. We will meet in the BMS Cafeteria.

Each spring we asked for feedback from parents and guardians regarding our Family School Partnership program at BMS. Please fill out our 2022 Spring Input/Engagement Survey (https://forms.gle/sQdMSiTQJVKNswxv5) to provide us with feedback so that we can better serve your family.
Also, please plan to join us on Monday, May 2nd at 6 PM for our Spring Input Meeting. We will discuss our compacts, parent engagement plan, school improvement plan, family nights, and the family school partnership budget.

Makerspace in action at BMS




We have a full afternoon of events at BMS tomorrow, 2/10. Please join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences from 3 pm- 5 pm. During this time the bookfair will be open to parents and students. We will begin our Math, Science, and Social Studies Night Activities at 5 pm. Parents and students will have a chance to participate in standards based activities such as trivia games, scavenger hunts, bingo and more! We look forward to seeing you!

8th grade basketball players and cheerleaders were recognized on January 13th at the last home basketball game.


The BMS Title I Math Night, originally scheduled for 1/13 at 6 pm will be rescheduled on a later date due to scheduling conflicts. Thank you for understanding!

Reminder: Our Math Night will be held tomorrow night at 6 pm. Each grade level will participate in a grade level specific activity! Please join us by meeting in the media center at 6 pm.

One last reminder about our ELA Night at 6 pm tonight (December 2nd). Last school year we were not allowed to hold in-person events however, this year we are thrilled to be able to welcome students and their families back into our building. We hope to see you at 6 pm tonight.

Please join us on Thursday December 2 at 6 pm for our ELA Curriculum Night. 4th grade students and parents should report to Mrs. Gowen's room on the 4th grade hallway. 5th grade students should report to Mrs. Passieu's room on the 5th grade hallway. 6th,7th, and 8th grade students should report to the cafeteria. Please join us in participating in a variety of ELA activities such as poetry writing and letter writing. We look forward to seeing you!

This presentation includes frequently used technology resources, information about those resources, and assessment guides for the GMAS.
Please mark your calendar for our next parent involvement event on Thursday, December 2 at 6 pm. Parents and students will have the opportunity to participate in activities centered around our ELA standards and curriculum. We are excited to be able to welcome parents into our building once again by holding in-person curriculum nights. We hope you will make plans to attend!

Please join us on Thursday, November 4th at 6 pm for our GMAS/Technology Night. This will be held in the BMS Media Center. Parents and students will receive information regarding the GMAS and information on available technology resources.

BMS students and staff will participate in a fundraiser to benefit two ladies who are very valuable to our school system. Students and staff can pay $1 to wear shades or a cap on Friday, 10/15 and Friday, 10/22. Please join us in this fundraiser!
