Please join us for our Parent and Family Engagement Fall Input Meeting. Our meeting will take place on Tuesday September 6th at 3:30 pm in the conference room at BMS. We will review the BMS School Improvement Plan, District Parent Involvement Plan, BMS Parent Involvement Plan, Parent/Teacher/Administration Student Compacts, Title I Parent Involvement Funds, and Building Staff Capacity. If you are unable to attend this meeting and would like more information on what will be discussed please email Rebeccah Phillips (rebeccahphillips@charlton.k12.ga.us).

5th grade enjoyed Field Day on May 24th




4th grade enjoyed Field Day on May 23rd



The students in Mrs. Holly's Class celebrated the last Monday of the school year with a big breakfast extravaganza. Students enjoyed breakfast goodies like Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs and grits, and bacon and sausage. It was a yummy, good time.





Today....Mrs. Johnson's class read a story about the Red Bull paper airplane contest in Austria. They made their own planes and took them for a test drive.

Next Tuesday, May 24 will be an early release day. Our baseball team will be in Statesboro that evening to compete for the Class 1A baseball state championship, and we will release early to allow for staff members and students to be able to travel to the game and support our team.

On Tuesday, May 10th, the students, faculty, and staff at BMS can donate $1 to wear a hat to honor Raymond Wade. All funds collected will be used to help cover the cost of funeral expenses. We hope that everyone will participate in this fundraiser to help support Raymond’s family and to honor this special young man!
