Georgia State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited Charlton County on February 13 to recognize two of our schools. St. George Elementary School received a Literacy Leader banner and a Masters of Mathematics banner for exceptional achievement in Reading and Math in grades 3, 4, and 5. Bethune Middle School received a Literacy Leader banner for demonstrating significant growth in grades 6 and 8.
