Alli Clark is a former Certified Nursing Assistant student who earned her CNA certificate through CCHS Dual Enrollment with Coastal Pines Technical College under the instruction of Mrs. Breanna Knowles.. Alli uses her certificate by working as a CNA at a facility in Camden County through the work based learning program. Today she is volunteering her skills as a CNA to provide blood pressure screenings for the retired educators at their meeting. Alli is a good example of what Dual Enrollment can do. Thank you to the Charlton Retired Educators Association for allowing Alli to help out. Also, thanks to the CTAE Department and Dr. Josh Howard.

The last day to purchase Chromebook insurance is Monday, August 19th.

Important Class Officer Elections- Wednesday (8/14/24) is the final day to sign-up to run for a class office. Please stop by Mrs. Huling's room (Room 102) if you are interested. After tomorrow, you will not be eligible to complete the packet to be placed on the ballot. Please let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!

Charlton County Schools will be open for students on Thursday August 8th.
Buses will not be able to travel down the following roads:
Old Moniac Road
Heather Road in Winokur
Emmaus Cutoff
This will affect less than 10 students. If your child lives on one of these roads, no bus will come to get them on Thursday, and their absence will be excused.
Additional updates regarding when buses will pick up on these roads will be provided on Thursday.

Please see the attached schedule for information about purchasing season tickets.

Based on the condition of many of our dirt roads, especially in the south end of the county, and with guidance provided by the Charlton County Road Department and Emergency Management Agency, school will be cancelled for students on Wednesday, August 7th.
Although there is no school for students, Wednesday August 7 will be a regular work day for teachers and staff.
We will provide updates on when school will open for students on Wednesday after road conditions are assessed.

CCBOE: Based on the latest briefing provided by the National Weather Service for our area regarding Tropical Storm Debby, Charlton County Schools will be closed Monday, August 5th and Tuesday, August 6th for all students and staff. The potential for tropical storm force winds as early as Monday morning and through Tuesday morning, as well as the potential for major flooding the next two days has led to this decision, as student safety is our top priority. We plan to have our first day of school for students on Wednesday, August 7th. If any further changes or cancellations are needed, we will provide updates via text messaging, our website, and Facebook.
