PBIS NEWS: December Students of the Month - These tribe members were nominated for being RESPONSIBLE! They are always prepared and on task. They also follow school rules without constant reminders. Please help us congratulate these students!

Congratulations Sam Baxter- She has been named to the Georgia all-state, public class A, fast pitch softball second team.




CCHS Holiday Art Show and Holiday Band Concert- These events will be on Thursday, December 12, 2019.
The art show will begin at 6:00 pm in the art room. The band concert will begin at 7:00 in the CCHS gym.

These student ambassadors decorated a tree for the Okefenokee Chamber of Commerce. Help us applaud these students for getting involved in a fun community event and spreading Christmas cheer! The tree is on display at the depot in town.



State end of course testing at CCHS will be from Wednesday, December 4th until Wednesday, December 11th. Please be reminded that cell phones and smart watches are not allowed in the testing room. This is a Georgia DOE policy and will result in school discipline.

PBIS NEWS: We still have several spots available for our holiday art night, so we are extending the registration deadline to tomorrow. We hope you can join us for this fun event! (see attached flyer for details)

Herff Jones will be at CCHS December 2, 2019 for the final senior order. THey will be here at 7:45 in the morning.

Students and parents, please mark these dates on your calendar. Students, get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast on test days.

Latoya McDowell, Haley Taylor, and Jameea Gibbs will be singing at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony Thursday, November 21st. This will be at 6:00 on the courthouse lawn.


Friday is a 1:00 release day, so students may have their lunch at a different time. They will eat with their 4th block teacher instead of their 3rd. If you plan on bringing a student lunch have the student ask their 4th block teacher what lunch they will eat Friday.

Please join us for our PBIS holiday art night!

Progress reports go home with students Wednesday, November 13. Please have them signed and returned by Friday. Turn your progress report to your 1st block teacher. Also, parent conference day is Thursday at CCHS from 3:20 until 5:00.

Veterans Day Band Concert 2019- This was another awesome band concert from November 7, 2019. We look forward to seeing everyone at the concert next year.


Due to inclement weather, we are cancelling our senior night tailgate that was scheduled for Friday, November 8th. We will reschedule this event at a later time. Please continue to check our website and Facebook page for updates.
