Join us for the 3-day Rising Stars Basketball Camp, designed for young athletes who want to develop their basketball skills. Campers will participate in activities such as ball-handling, shooting, passing, etc.

The CCHS Varsity Cheerleaders will host Little Miss Cheer Camp at Charlton County High School starting Monday, June 12th. Please see the attached flyer for more details! Our 2023 t-shirt design is also attached. Please consider supporting our cheerleaders by sending your littles (ages 4-12) to this fun event! We can't wait to see you all!



Student Shout-Out... The following students achieved the highest possible score on the spring administration of the Reading Growth Measure assessment: Colton Crews and Alec Rhoden (9th Grade), Haley Crews and Hayden Warren (10 grade), Rafael Guzman, Jackson Lloyd, Thomas Smith, and Andia Williams (11th grade). We are SO PROUD of these students! The Reading Growth Measure assessment is not administered to seniors.


The early sign out letters for Wednesday, May 24th will now be good for Tuesday, May 23rd. The notes are for signing out after the last final exam. Anyone who wants to sign out on Wednesday, May 24th will sign out as normal.

FAN BUS: Seats are still available.....sign up time has been extended to 3:30 today....Please stop by attendance office asap if you would like to secure your seat. $10 payment and permission slip signature required.

IMPORTANT GRADUATION INFORMATION: We are planning for our graduation ceremony to be held at Champ Bailey Field at 7:30 pm. Seniors will need to be dressed and in the field house by 6:45 pm. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the CCHS gym and each spectator must have an admission ticket to enter. Seniors will meet in the CCHS auditorium (by 6:45 pm) if the ceremony is moved to the gym.

Charlton County School System will provide ONE school bus to transport fans to the Baseball State Championship on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Please see details if you are interested.

***Only 40 bus tickets will be sold- passengers will ride TWO per seat *** Buses will depart from CCHS on Tuesday, 5-23-23 at 1:15 pm. Passengers must ride to and from the game on the bus. Bus will not stop before or after the game. Concessions are available for purchase at the JI Clements Stadium ***Anyone under 16 must have an adult accompany them in order to ride the bus. ***To secure your seat, please stop by the attendance office at CCHS by 12 noon on Monday, May 22, 2023.

The golf team traveled to Seminole County to compete in the DIV 1 Area 2 Golf Tournament. The boys were runner-up to Seminole County. Jacob Murray was the low scorer for the indians with a 94. The girls won the Area Championship by 17 strokes. Emilee Zetmeir was the overall low medalist for the girls Area championship with a score of 98. Joelie Kern scored the second lowest for the girls tournament right behind Zetmeir with a 106. Both teams will be traveling to Thomason, GA for the state tournament May 22-23.

Charlton County High School participated in the 2023 Georgia Future Educators Signing Day on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Seniors Gabby Tillis, Cynthia Strickland, Sydnee Johnson, and Emilee Zetmeir signed commitment certificates to become a future educator. Gabby plans to attend Georgia State University to major in Elementary Education; Cynthia plans to attend Valdosta State University to major in Early Childhood Education; Sydnee plans to attend Valdosta State University to major in Secondary Education; and Emilee plans to attend ABAC to major in English Education.
