Directions to the
Charlton County Board Office
in Folkston, Georgia
- Traveling from St. Mary's on GA highway 40, go West to Folkston.
- Travel on GA highway 40 until you reach the end of the road.
- Turn left once you come to the end of highway 40 on to Third Street.
- Go about three blocks until you come to a long Yellow building on the right side of the road, that is the board office.
- Please park in the front of the building.
Traveling South:
- Traveling South, you can take highway 95 or highways 1/15/121/301/23 in to Folkston.
- If you are traveling on highway 95 south, exit at St. Marys on highway 40.
- Then head West into Folkston. The first street is Third Street turn left, go 3 blocks.
- Board of Education office is on the right side of the street in a long Yellow building.
- If traveling down 301/23 south, once you have entered town, go past the BP gas station.
- The Board of Education building is about a block on the left.
- You then may turn left onto Maple street and go to the stop sign to Third Street.
- Then turn left and park in the front of the building.
Traveling North:
- Traveling North, you can go on either Highway 95 or on Highway 301/23 to get to Folkston.
- If you travel on Highway 95, you will exit onto A1A going West into Callahan and connect to Highway 301/23 then head North.
- Once you have traveled up 301/23 into Folkston, you will come to the Board Office directly after the Dairy Queen on the right.
- You should see a long Yellow building, which is the board office.
- Please turn right after the Dairy Queen on to Maple Street.
- There are parking spaces on the side of the building.
- If there are no parking spaces available, go the stop sign on Third Street.
- Then turn left and park in the front of the building.
